How to determine what exactly is broken in a laptop?
About an hour after I ran the script, in a debian distribution, without installing proprietary drivers, using xterm, which in turn used x-server, the display became gridded, the system stopped responding to anything, only the touchpad worked. I rebooted the laptop with a reset, after turning it on I saw this:

Kidding. Linux, most likely, has nothing to do with it.
It looks like a dump of the RAM of the video card. If possible (I didn’t google it), then disable the discrete one and switch to the built-in BIOS in the BIOS.
Preferably for renovation. If not possible, then try warming up the card chip. There are video guides on the Internet about this. Just in case, first check the matrix cable. Pull the cover, if the image flickers, then most likely a cable
