How to determine the optimal price for access to application microfunctions?

For example, in FriendAround, one message on the air costs 1 friend (or 5 rubles). In my application, a function is planned, the duration of which, for example, is 4 or 8 hours. The user can either turn it on all the time every day, paying in small payments, or buy an extended option for a week, which, for example, will independently turn on the function every day at the appointed time for these same 4-8 hours.
How to determine the right price for such one-time services and packages of services, so as not to scare off the average paying user, ranging from a student with a scholarship (and without) and so that he does not mind doing it daily?

Experiment, as an option - conduct an A / B test. Those. one show one price, and the other another and see the conversion.

IMHO, it all depends on the specific case, since auto payment will not always be perceived as a convenience for which the client wants to pay.
If you go to meet the client, then a single payment should be available to him, and everything that is more considered as a bundle and give a volume discount...
...you can not break your head, but make a fan, where there will be volume discount packages, but with manual activation, and automatic activation but more expensive and / or without a discount ...
