How to determine the direction in it?

Initial data - formation of VMK MGU'12. 2 years experience in mobile development for ios. There were many projects, almost none of them really liked. Recently, there was mostly remote work, which made the "burden" a little easier. Additionally, it confuses me that I do not feel like a specialist. I can practically implement anything, but I don’t understand the “guts”. I can find a solution on stackoverflow, casually read, apply and forget. I do not like to discuss with colleagues the features of new features if it is not directly related to current tasks.
I love to invent anything. I liked the course of computer graphics using OpenGL at the university, artificial intelligence is interesting, looking through some sites, I catch myself thinking that it would be great to do such things. If a little experience in games under ios. Like,
Initially, there was a plan to move towards design. I am now making prototypes of landings on a project basis, I am learning, I like it.
Question: where would you advise to move and how? There is time to learn new things. I'm afraid to look for junior positions, it will suddenly cease to be interesting. I can earn good money only on ios, but even test tasks are already hard to do. It is possible to make games remotely.

Move in the direction where you are comfortable, it is foolish to ask strangers where to move, this is exactly the case when you yourself need to make a choice.

Naturally, you have only 2 years of work experience, I hope that is full time. You are such an average junior. If not full time, then experience may be less.
I do not like to discuss with colleagues the features of new features, if it is not directly related to current tasks.
Badly. Are you interested in the area in which you work? Then change.
