How to determine if a phone number is virtual?

Are there methods that can be used to determine if a particular phone number is a physical or virtual one?
Virtual number = pinger, sonetel, etc.

No way. Because it is impossible to distinguish "virtual" number from "physically existing". How do you imagine physically existing?
Each country has its own regulator, which allocates telecom operators (companies that have licenses to provide communication services) with pools (ranges) of numbers. And how already these operators or "operators" will use these numbers - you will not know. They can be brought over copper lines (CO line) to some kind of kindergarten, or they can be sent to some large PBX to a bank via SIP (lines 1200 for example).
Well, it can be used on such platforms as you indicated in the example.
The only option, you can try to "google" the number you need or by mask - and see where it "pops up".
