Good afternoon! I want to buy a new MacBook, NOT PCT. You will have to take your own on the market or in IMs.
Tell me how not to run into a restored or showcase sample?
- Macbook is activated at the time of the first inclusion and settings (language selection, etc.)?
If so, I'm thinking of running a hardware test before activation (when the OS boots), it should give out a serial number, and it should already be looked at for activation on the apple selfesolve website? Will this give a 100% guarantee that it is new?
Another question for the experts, are there any tricks, can I see the time of the hard drive? I know it was possible on the HDD, but on the SSD?

Restored at the factory - a priori the same. What are you afraid of?
Showcase sample - they didn’t do anything special with them, they just jabbed their fingers. See keyboard. If not broken, then the display case is identical to the new one.

There was an experience of acquiring a macbook 12
1. an attempt to purchase in the official DNS: it turned out to be more than 5 recharge cycles and there was no smell of a new one at all)))) in general, a display sample
2. an attempt to purchase on a humpback, I tried not PCT. The box was opened in front of me, there was 1 recharge cycle.

Isn't it easier to just go to a certified store (in my city Svyaznoy-stor) and buy there than to toil about some frank garbage?
I generally bought mine in M-video, they ordered it for me.

There is still a chance to buy a charged one, and after installation you will see that your characteristic is the cheapest. That's how they cheated three years ago.
But I took it in a store with a three-year warranty and will soon be selling (100 days of warranty remains).
