How to detect connections to a working WIFI access point using Android tools?
Good afternoon!
Tell me, please, how can I use software on Android to detect a connection to an access point working on my device WI-Fi?
I know that you can read / proc / net / arp, but I need to do it right away, and not every time I turn to arp
PS I need to find out about this when connecting to my access point. And I still see the solution only in viewing every n seconds of arp. And I'm wondering if anyone knows a better way.

Nothing even to add :)
The point name is obtained from android.net.wifi.WifiInfo.getSSID
root-only:
WiFiKill, which allows you, while connected to a WiFi network, to disconnect any other user from it.

Here are two programs that display information about connected devices

I wonder what phone you have, firmware. I have native Sony and HTC Sensation firmware, they also displayed information about all connected devices, cyanogenmod did not.
