How to design interfaces for personal projects?
I think we all have come across a situation where the interfaces of our personal projects are, to put it mildly, not very good. And this despite the fact that everyone can evaluate and criticize an existing product or mockups from designers.
This problem is especially evident when you are developing something all by yourself.
I always partially try to use ready-made components and frameworks, for the web it’s mainly Bootstrap, a nice theme for it and all sorts of beautiful snippets, for iOS I choose something nice on Cocoa Controls (although I often take only the design from them, and rewrite the code with zero).
But ugliness always manifests itself precisely in places that you have to invent on your own.
No one will suggest some articles or books that will tell you how to design interfaces normally ., that is, I do not need anything supernatural, just to keep the blood from the eyes flowing.
Thank you.

Give here your project, for the court - we will give advice. Development is an iterative process, ugliness is normal, the main thing is to fix it
Here is a good book store.artlebedev.ru/books/design/interface/raskin
