How to design a sitemap?

Hello. There is one sitemap.xml file. And I need to impose at least some design on it. I don't know much about xml. The beginning of the file looks like this, then everything is according to the standard. I suspect that the problem lies somewhere here. The bottom line is that the file absolutely refuses to accept xsl styles, if I include a link to the style file, it either does not show anything at all, or gives an error. I also tried to write a piece of xsl in the file itself. Gives an error message.

How to form at least such a table from loc, priority, lastmod and changefreq as here at the bottom of the site sites.znu.edu.ua/webprog/lect/1210.ukr.html page ? By the way, following the advice from here, I tried to do it, but it gave an error.

your task as an expert is to help the client not to make a game, grow this quality in yourself, it will come in handy and will allow you to earn and grow as a pro.
Talk him out of it, it just doesn't need anyone
