How to deploy Vue CLI on GitHub Pages?

I'm trying to upload a vuejs cli project to github according to official instructions:

And I still get exactly the same error: ERROR: Repository not found . fatal: Could not read from remote repository. Please make sure you have the correct access rights and the repository exists.

Well, it is clearly written - check that the repository exists.
The instruction implies that you have created a repository on gh in advance.
