How to deploy a Bitrix backup in a subdomain?

I wanted to deploy a backup of the site on Bitrix on the test subdomain test.site.ru in order to rework the functionality of the site.
I uploaded the restore.php file to the subdomain folder, it gives the following message: Error: this script must be started from Web Server's DOCUMENT ROOT. That is, DOCUMENT ROOT gives the path to the main site. But since Bitrix uses DOCUMENT ROOT, it means that there is no need to wait for Bitrix to work correctly on a subdomain.
How can I solve the problem with DOCUMENT ROOT on a subdomain and set up the correct operation of Bitrix? I did not find any information on this issue.

Unpack with your hands, pour the base. And everything will work. Do not use the restore.php file
