How to delete another user's files?

Hello.
One of the scripts from GitHub works like this: a Jail is created, inside of which several Python scripts work. To simplify the installation, there is a .sh script, at the start of which everything is created automatically, including the user, some of the script files are transferred to him.
Now I need to reinstall the script, but I can't delete the current folder with files even with sudo su, it keeps saying "Permission denied". chown doesn't work either. Tell me, please, how to be in such a situation.

Is this script secret? Perhaps it has a hint that something is wrong with the folder. Try rebooting, suddenly some resources are busy with something, you never know, without code, you can guess a lot.
