How to decompose a stroke without creating new extra points?

Is there any way to achieve a nice, symmetrical dot arrangement after expanding strokes on multiple objects? If you compare the points on the strokes before the expansion with the points on the strokes after the expansion and delete the points manually with the PathScribe plugin, then you can still achieve the desired result, but damn it, it's very long, manually cleaning the extra points by comparing them with the original unsorted shapes.
