How to debug only one file step by step?

I use chrome dev tools, but the question is relevant for the IDE too, since I can go there to debug.

Now the buttons "Step", "Step into next function call", etc, can open another file(s) that I'm not interested in. Only one file is interesting, and I don't want the others to open during debugging.

Now, to implement my wishes, I need to set breakpoints for each line of the file, and press "Resume script execution". Is there a more convenient way?
