Good afternoon.
The site is only at the development stage and I would like to immediately protect myself from possible ddos attacks.
I know about CloudFlare, but I saw the information that the RKN blocks their IP. How true is this and is it worth it?
How can I protect myself from ddos on my server side: front on nginx, backend API on node.js
Heard about IPtables, do they do the job?
What are the protection options? How do giants like VK, Google, Yandex do it?

Giants need it the least.
The giants will have a current normal traffic worse than any DDOS.
