How to debug apk?

Prompt tools for debugging an application for android that contains native code (in the form of .so libraries). Of course, there are no sources ;) I tried gikdbg.art, but it's terribly buggy. IDA 6.6 should be able to do this, but it costs a lot of green money. What other options?

android studio can attach a debugger to running applications, theoretically, it will work with native too.
