How to deal with spam on shared hosting?
Good afternoon, I would like to hear advice from fellow hosters on how to deal with spammer clients and spam from hacked client sites, we use ISPmanager lite 5 to provide hosting services, it simply does not have these functions, while we catch spammers regularly inspection of new suspicious accounts and manual analysis of logs, but I would like to automate this somehow, I ask more experienced people for advice on how to do this?

Mail domains - 0. Enable on request. PHP mail() function = off. You can set limits only for the entire server. For account limits, set Business, it's there. 400 rubles extra for persons. not so expensive.
Do you have your own mail server hosting????
What for????
Put away.
If you are a webmaster:
Update engines for clients.
Correctly arrange the rights to directories.
Update hosting software.
A simple transition to a fresh version, say, Joomla - reduces the amount of spam at times.
If this client is not a client for making a website for you,
but a purely hosting client, then just write terrible letters to them - let them solve the problem themselves.
For 100 rubles - how much do hostings cost today, will you still update their engines for them?
act like other hostings - as soon as spam is noticed - immediately blocking the account and site. until the user cleans up his site and writes to the support - the acc will not be unlocked.
ps reg ru for example, this is how they act. and also when you install wp, they will immediately install protection for the wp admin panel, because wp is most often hacked https://www.reg.ru/support/hosting-i-servery/hosti...
put a pro or a business there, these features are there, the light is just sharpened purely for your home hosting where you control everything
delegate mail to Yandex pdd
and the whole problem will go away as a class
