How to deal with neomorphism. Just a few details?

I'm using the com.github.fornewid:neumorphism:0.3.0 package to implement the neomorphism button. The package has a neumorph_shapeType attribute "flat" which I want to change to "pressed" when the button is clicked. Can anyone share relevant tutorial or reference sites that I can use to achieve the same?
