How to deal with false reviews on Google Play?

On the market came out not long ago. Everything was going great, the rating was growing by leaps and bounds... And then someone (of the competitors, most likely) began to pour untruthful comments like:
- "Virus"
- "All of you @@@, the application takes money"
...
The problem is, that most of these comments are written from newly registered accounts.
And as for evil, on the first page with comments, these very ones always climb out.
How to deal with such chaos? Clicking on the "spam" button or lowering the rating does not help at all.
Do these buttons affect the ranking of comments at all?
It's a shame when you spend a lot of money on development and support, and then any passer-by can write any nasty things just to dissuade others from installing.
Is it really possible to deal with these somehow or close your eyes and get nervous in silence?

Ignore and develop the application.
If the application gets much more positive reviews than negative ones, then soon the number of such spam will become insignificant in relation to the total number of reviews.
Then the users themselves will begin to write in the comments which of the reviews are not true.

Did not come across, but can write to support? He is the one who should help you.

It is done simply - we say no to free applications and distribute them at a minimum price, say, $ 0.1. The minimum price cuts off almost all trolls, competitors will have to pay even a penny, but it's still unpleasant, and dreary. As a result, only real users of the program remain.
Yes, there is the first 5 minutes to rollback the payment, but will competitors bother so much?

There is another way. It's not exactly legal, but if you really want to hide an unfair comment, you can add a couple of good ones. There is a special sites that can wind up comments.
Of course, in no case should this be abused. But it can help a good app get off to a good start. And then sail on real comments from users. And, if you already think that your rating is being “fouled”, then a couple of counter-comments, albeit fake ones, will not be superfluous ...
At your own peril and risk.

No offense, but that's the first impression. You have a lot of spelling errors in the topic. If your program also has such moments or does not have a very high level itself, then this may be the reason for negative comments.

Actual question:

"Pressing the spam button or downvoting doesn't help at all. Do
these buttons have any effect on the ranking of comments at all?"

Does anyone know how reviews are sorted? Why are some people's comments higher? What principle? The thumbs up buttons have no effect on this (from personal experience).

1. A complaint to support with a description of the fact that negative is pouring from new accounts and with a request to delete - should help.
2. By clicking on the spam flag - it works after a few hours.
3. Ignore reviews and keep an eye on the quality of your app.
