How to cut x support from dbus in ubuntu?

There is a console application using dbus. Which does not start, because dbus is compiled with X support.
How to remove it? I tried to compile the dbus package with the disable-x11 key, it does not help, probably, I need to remove it somewhere else.
I myself use gentoo, I may not know the obvious things for ubuntu, advise.
Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS system.

Do you have a dbus server running? Just because dbus is compiled with X support doesn't mean that it requires Xorg to be running.
