Why put the ADOBE PHOTOSHOP tag if your question is not about photoshop?

Cut directly - you can't have Photoshop / Illustrator for this.
You can use the shape obtained with the Pen Tool as a mask over the object.
Create a shape by placing it on top of an element. Select both elements.
MAC : In the menu Object > Mask with Shape.
WIN : Right Click -> Mask with Shape.
