Don't be lazy. Photoshop has many useful tools. Not enough, put the plugin one second and cut it out. Erase the unnecessary with an eraser.
And if you are not a designer, but a typesetter, for example, then point the layout to the designer. Let him either cut it or divide it into layers normally.
