I recently bought an Asus RT-N15U router.
Not immediately, but I installed the firmware from Oleg on it, version RT-N15U-1.9.2.7-rtn-r5066.trx.
First played with the factory, then updated to the latest version of the same factory firmware. But when I connected the Internet from a new provider (1Gbps connection), and found that by directly connecting the cable to the PC, everything is OK, and through the router - the speed drops several times, I immediately understood what was going on.
Installed alternative firmware. Everything began to fly immediately.
Now asked a question. And what is so cool you can lift on a piece of iron?
Connected the Entware repository, tried to install Midnight Commander, successfully.
Ftp, samba, nfs is already out of the box. Would like to try something else...
Advise who played with this device.
