How to crop a layer in After Effects?

An arbitrary image has been imported into the project. It can be either a portrait or a landscape. It is necessary, regardless of the proportions, to compress the short side of the image to, for example, 360 px while maintaining the proportions of the image, and then crop it 360 by 360, cutting off the edges. How to do it? It is necessary that it was exactly by coordinates, and not by eye. In general, you need to get a square of a given size from an arbitrary rectangular photo, the center of the square coincides with the center of the rectangle

@Lenich

I can only tell you how to set the image size not in percentages, but in pixels.
Or with a script:

var p = [1920, 1080]
value=[ p[0] / width, p[1] / height ] * 100
