How to create your own live distribution based on Debian Linux?

Good day, dear ones!
I'm looking into creating my own Live CD/USB distribution based on Debian Linux. Essentially what is required is a minimal Debian with a specific set of software that can boot from a usb stick that can be easily updated and be able to save changes made to the system.
Could you please tell me a clear guide or share your own experience.
