How to create your own cms on react?

Hello, please tell me how can I create my own cms on React?
I had a question, how are such systems created on React in general, and how to approach this task correctly?
I am writing a full stack application, an online store on react + nodejs (express) + postgresql based on the restful api principle. The idea was to create a separate route through react-router-dom and use it as a route to render a separate admin page, independent of the rest of the content on the site. But as for me, this is not the best solution, maybe you should write a separate application that will simply change the data in the database through the interface?
