How to create css classes when working with svg in Adobe Illustrator?

It was required to change through css multilayer svg which is created in illustratore. But as you know, illustrator converts the layer name into id and at the same time does not allow working with the class at all. Are there any tools for substitution, substitution and everything else that could help create classes that can be fully controlled? By control I mean.. for example assigning multiple classes to one layer.
