How to create an HTML5 android application?

Having a pedagogical education, I am finishing the site for self-education and self-control. While busy compiling tasks, but I would also like to make an Android application based on it.
The essence is simple - in the input you need to enter the answer, where it is checked against a text variable and returns correctly / incorrectly.
For this site I used html5, css3, jQuery and a drop of js.
In the future, I plan to study svg-animation, and then develop in this direction.
In which direction would you advise to move on and what to master in order not to waste time - android sdk, intel xdk or something else?
If possible, then give links for studying from scratch.

Because app is not Angular, ionic is redundant. Just cordova .
