How to create an animation to present your work in a portfolio?

For example, I have a psd website template, I want to show the programmer what kind of animation should be or show my work on the resource in the form of a portfolio so that the menu goes out beautifully or something like that. I know that it's probably easier to do this animation in principle or after effect, but I need some free service or program so that I can make fast and beautiful animations.

Personally, I use GIF in Photoshope and Adobe Premiere Pro for simple animation, and After Effects for more complex things. All other solutions, IMHO, are not sufficient to create full-fledged multi-level animations.
