How to create a tutorial app for android?

There is a programming language course. I would like to make an application for android based on it.
I looked towards appsgeyser.com. But as I understood, they then place their ads there, albeit on a par with the creator of the application.
I'm looking at Android Studio (developer.android.com) now. I can basically learn. However, this is a redundant tool for the task at hand. And possibly inappropriate.
What to choose and where to look?
