How to create a short cartoon?
Is there any more or less simple program for creating sprite animation?
For example, there is an animated GIF with a walking character (or a set of frames, it doesn't matter) and this character should walk across the screen. Those. I set the start position, end position and the time it takes for the character to move and the program interpolates the position and shows the corresponding frames.
Making frame-by-frame animation in Photoshop is torture and perversion.
I tried to use the program for creating presentations (PhotoShow), there is a task of movement and animation and other goodies, but all this is set within the same scene and all objects exist all the time. Those. you can't even make a flash or instantly move the subject. It is understandable, the presentation is not a cartoon.
The animation level needs to be completely primitive. An image for the background and moving images along paths or scripts. I really don't want to use a game engine for this. Is there anything tailored for animation "for dummies"?
PS I tried to make a video for the program ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksG_X20TSt0 ). The original idea could not be realized due to the limitations of the presentation program. I would like to redo it, but more suitable means are needed.

Adobe Animate CC can draw and animate movements, the program itself will add the missing frames + you can make part of the animation with AS3 code or any start / stop buttons, etc.
Anime Studio - made for
Adobe After Effect animation - if you make a sequence of frames from the first two, then for example in this program you can simply turn everything into a video file (I just don't know if it's possible to make a video in Adobe Anime Studio)
