How to create a separate category for a recipient in GMail?

Is it possible to create a separate group for incoming messages from a specific recipient along with inbox, Spam, etc.? I found how to pin a separate correspondence to this group, but not all subsequent messages from the selected user.
In other words, how to quickly filter (not through a search) messages from a specific address and preferably with the ability to turn off notifications from it?
