How to create a RAID from PCI-E SSD disks on a linux server?

The server chassis has run out of disk space.
I would like to add SSD drives, such as PCI-E
How to create a hardware RAID mirror?
Is there enough space in a 2U case? Could there be overheating issues?
What happens when a PCI-E SSD fails - something like a kernel panic?
I ask those who have experience in operating PCI-E SSD drives in servers to answer.

With so many questions, I can advise two options for getting answers:
1. Long. Set off to study the mat.chast, theory and documentation. Google and google again.
2. Fast. Hire, at least for educational program, a specially trained person - an administrator.
