How to create a log in mhdd 4.6 and where does it save it?

makelog command returns error:
Not enough disk space to create log.
have 1.845.248; need 39.290.016
1. where did he find this place? the disk itself is seagate 320gb, an 8gb flash drive is inserted, there is space on them.
2. is there another way to save the log?
