How to create a license for your module?

Hello everyone, I decided to create my own module for Opencart, everything seems to work out, the add-on works, but here's how to create a license for it using ioncube by domain. The buyer buys an add-on and can only install it on their own domain?

The simplest thing that comes to mind is to make part of the necessary functionality on the side of the developer from whom the module is bought, that is, in the code in a certain place you write: even without this piece of code, the program stupidly does not work, but what is inside this file the buyer of the license will never know, and there may be a check on the list of domains that are allowed to use the module, and so on. But I emphasize - this is the most primitive solution.

how to create a "license"? You encrypt your file with IoncubeEncoder, indicating that it needs a license,
and there is a make_license utility to directly create a license,
but keep in mind that not everyone has Ioncube.
