How to create a custom widget for OpenERP 6.1.1?

Help, there is very little information on the net. There is a need to create a custom widget that would look like a url widget, but only when the user clicks on it - it would take a local file from the server and give it to the user.

I contacted these guys, they answered that so far they couldn’t help, the only thing they said was that it was possible to implement this widget by inheriting from the url widget.
