How to create a custom field in OpenCart using a module?

Hello.
There is a task to create a custom field for categories in the admin panel for OpenCart2.x.
I would like to do this as a module, so as not to edit controllers and kernel models, and also so that this module could be installed on other OpenCart 2.x.
There is also an idea to connect to the events of creating, editing the Category. (events)
Question:
How to create a custom form field in the admin panel (for example, for a category) in OpenCart using a module?

As well as creating any module in Opencart, i.e. through one "F" called modifications / vqmod.
