How to create a 2D project in Unity?

The question is the following: out of interest, I wanted to dig deeper into Unity (I'm a beginner) and concoct something 2d, which version I didn't download (everything from the site, I downloaded the latest, some kind of beta), when creating a new project, there is no option to choose 2d or 3d, and created immediately 3d. I didn’t find how to change it in the settings, maybe I didn’t search well or didn’t download something, please tell me what and how.?

No way. Everything in Unity is 3D. And it always has been. The only difference between 2D projects and 3D projects is the default camera type and the pressed "2d" button in the scene window.
