How to count the number of cells in a table according to a condition, ignoring hidden cells?
There is a table with two columns, in the first field with only two options for values, for example "husband" and "wives". The second column contains arbitrary data.
There are two cells, one shows the number of "husband", and the second "wives" respectively in the table. It is necessary to apply an autofilter to the table and so that the cells display the number of "husbands" and "wives" that satisfy the filter condition (that is, without taking into account hidden cells). I don’t understand how to do it, I’ve been struggling with formulas for an hour.
ps: it seems clear that the subtotal should be used, but how not to screw it up is not obvious.
