How to correctly write the path to linux.iso when writing USB through OSX?

The command "No such file or directory" is constantly displayed
Tried everything, but does not want to be mounted. I think the problem is writing MacintoshHD
dd if=MacintoshHD/linuxmint.iso of=/dev/disk1 bs=4k
(I moved the ISO to the MacintoshHD folder).

1. go to this folder and write pwd. - Gives the full path
2. of=/dev/disk1 - if you replace the disk with rdisk - it will be faster
3. www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/create-a-usb-stick...
