How to correctly replace disks with storage systems in a failover cluster?
Good afternoon.
There is a failover cluster Hyper-V on Server 2008 R2 from 4 HP ProLiant BL460c blades. Works in conjunction with storage.
On storage and boot volumes of blades, and cluster quorum, and CSV volumes.
Due to lack of space, I'm going to soon replace the disks on the storage system with new ones of a larger volume.
There is a place for temporary storage of data from the storage system.
How to transfer all the data so that nothing is lost?

In order to leave comments, you need to log in
1. Shut down all virtual machines
2. backup them (backup all CSV)
3. disable CSV and quorum
4. delete raid 5
5. insert new disks
6. create new volume('s)
7. map to hosts
8. add to cluster quorum and CSV snap-in (at the old address)
Once you have a csv disk backup, you won't lose anything. Think about it, is RAID5 really that safe?
1. Backup and transform using storage systems (in the documentation for it it is written how).
2. Call the support of the storage manufacturer, they usually go to a meeting and tell you.
There is not enough data here.
Data :-)
SHD - HP MSA 2312fc, 12 disks of 300GB each.
Boot volumes - RAID 1.
Under quorum and CSV RAID 5 from other disks.
"On storage and blade boot volumes, and cluster quorum, and CSV volumes." on what of this lack of space?
to CSV. Now there is still enough, but in the next 2-3 months it will not be enough.
