How to correctly indicate the author of the article?

In the instructions for assessors from Google, it is written that the articles on the site must indicate the author, who, in turn, must be an expert in the topic. But nothing is said about the form in which it should be specified. On some sites they write a real name and surname, on others a nickname. Does anyone have personal observations on this? That is, is it important to write real data, or can you get by with a nickname?

It is unlikely that anyone will tell you a 100% correct answer, except for those who bother to conduct experiments to test hypotheses.
I will offer an option.
And I ask you not to accept it as the only true one.
In my opinion, you should place the "Author" block under each article, in which you should indicate:

  1. Name and Surname
  2. post a photo of a person, not a cartoon, etc.
  3. indicate 1-3 links of his profiles in social networks
  4. post a link to the Author's page on the same site, where he talks about himself and provides evidence that he is an expert (diploma, certificate, awards in competitions, participant certificates in trainings, orders, medals, etc.).

To do this, you will have to find a photo of a person that you will use for social networks and on the website.
Create several profiles for him and sometimes post deliberate posts there, and the rest of the time set up auto-posting on his subject (there are cheap services for this). Those. you will create yourself on the site of an expert.
