How to correctly configure DNS on the server directory?

• domain name configured on CloudFlare NS servers
• Project on GitHub

In the DNS server settings, you can create a subdomain directed to GitHub Pages. But this option is not suitable. You need to create a downloads subdomain and point the directory in the subdomain to GitHub Pages.
Note that this design assumes that any directory on a subdomain can be directed to any GitHub Pages.
