How to copy files from virtual machine to VirtualBox?

There is a file on the guest machine that needs to be copied to the host machine, the shared folder has been created, how can I see it on the guest and copy the necessary file there?

Personally, I use WinSCP for this. Just forward the port in Settings... -> Network -> Advanced -> Port Forwarding.

You can make a public folder on a physical machine and from a virtual one throw the necessary file into this folder (as if over a network).
