ip webcam not working in skype ubuntu?
I use linux xubuntu v. 19.10 and android v. 4.4.2. I installed the ip webcam program on the phone and installed the driver in xubuntu. The devices are on the same network, on the PC I open the ip webcam server in the browser, everything works, there is broadcast and sound! BUT, in all other applications, the camera is supposedly connected, such as skype and viber, but there is no broadcast. The camera itself as a device is defined both in skype and viber, and of course it is in /dev/ and looks like this: crw-rw----+ 1 root video 81, 0 Oct 23 10:39 video0 . Help launch the camera :)

Problem on desktop? Skype and viber are written on the electron, i.e. actually inside chromium, and he has a problem with virtual cameras. They are either not visible, or something is missing. In firefox, everything is usually ok, I fucked for a long time and eventually scored and used the firefox camera for debugging.
