How to copy a large file in windows 10?

Hello.
I copy the file on a flash drive, 44GB (image), to an SSD, where there is 56GB of free space. The process reaches 30% and the whole place is occupied. How?

For example, disk compression is enabled and the free space is shown approximately (taking into account future compression). In fact, it turned out that the copied file is poorly compressed and it took up more space than the system estimate gave.

It is better to compress the file into parts

Throw out the SSD and get a good one.
