How to convert .m3g files to any other format?

I pulled 3d models from the game, for push-button phones, Deep 3D (deep submarine odyssey) and they turned out to be in .m3g format. And now for the second day I've been trying to find a way to convert these 3d models to any other format that Cinema 4D (or Blender) can open, but it doesn't work.
How can this be done?
