How to connect wallet to ethereum test network?
The task is to create a test ethereum network via geth/ganache and connect a wallet there to work with a smart contract.
There are no problems with networking. But it was not possible to connect wallets there.
Metamask - works great, but does not support smart contracts.
Etherwall / Etherdyn - when trying to connect to the network, it says "connecting to node" for a long time, and then "WS: unknown error".
MyEtherWallet- could not run the code from github, and when installing from aur (I do everything on Arch), it cannot import gpg keys.
Mist- refuses to work even with mainnet, let alone testnet.
I noticed that both etherwall and mist complain about websocket. Maybe you need to enable it on geth somehow in a special way?
How to make at least one of these wallets (preferably one that does not require the Internet to work) work normally? There are no other wallets in my opinion.
