How to connect two monitors via one type-c in Extend Screen mode?
Given: Lenovo L380 laptop, integrated Intel 620 UHD video, 2 USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 outputs (with DisplayPort support), 1 HDMI. Win 10 Pro.
There are: two Dell monitors (I will not name the exact model now), each has DisplayPort and HDMI inputs.
What you need: pick up a docking station where you can connect both monitors, and connect this docking station with a type-c cable to your laptop.
Important! All monitors (including the laptop screen) must work in screen extension mode, not duplication / mirroring.
Optional: power the laptop through the dock too.
If I correctly understood the situation with HDMI / DP / Type-c - I need either a dock with two DP connectors, or DP + HDMI.
But, apparently, you can stumble upon a situation where monitors can only work in mirroring each other mode or "1 monitor is a mirror of the laptop screen, 1 monitor is an extended desktop."
Advise either a specific model, or what characteristics of the docking station should be looked at when choosing?
