It's not about the Type-C version, but about the monitor having video output to USB at all.
The first one has HDMI, so you don't need USB there to connect the monitor.
In the second - nothing is mentioned, so the video may or may not be displayed. If it is displayed, then an adapter will be included. It is better to clarify this directly at the time of purchase.
