How to connect to wi-fi in arch linux?
When setting up arch, wpa_supplicant and iw swear at me, since the password on the router is 7 characters, but you need at least 8. The router is working, I can’t change the password, wpa. Is it possible to somehow impose such a short password on Arch? Googled a lot, didn't find a solution. It will be strange if Windows, androids, etc. were connected, but Linux cannot.

According to the standard, the password in WPA cannot be shorter than 8 characters. The router simply will not accept a shorter password.
Check your router settings, make sure your password doesn't have any preceding/after spaces that the router admin simply doesn't show.
A good test of settings is a smartphone. What connection options are visible on the smartphone when connected to WiFi? Perhaps the standard is not what you expect.
